Well, we (Bill, Tom, and I) went to the 2010 NAIAS… and at least Bill and I were disappointed.  We went a few years ago and spent six hours there!  This year, we were in and out in under two hours if that tells you anything.  In addition to many manufacturers pulling out (or just not being around anymore), there were not many prototypes or concept cars to look at — and that was my favorite part of the show!

It wasn’t a total waste of time, however, since Bill managed to sit in a Ford Focus and he decided that that is NOT the car for him!  I am glad, as I cannot see him driving around in a Focus and being happy…

Here are some pictures from the show though:

Saleen Mustang

Bill & Tom in the Challenger SRT

Now I must say…. The Challenger was a very comfy vehicle to sit in!  I was impressed, despite the fact that it’s a Dodge!

Lime Green Camaro!

I love the way this car looks.  However, I was sorely disappointed at its comfort level.  I would have to go for the Challenger over the Camaro in the comfort department…….

Can you say Lego Car?

There was a huge display of these kind of “Smart” cars… Bill actually sat in one.  They remind me of the toy Lego cars that the boys play with.  And I can’t even imagine surviving an auto accident in one of these things… Casket on Wheels might be a better name for it.
