This is my entry for the Sweet Pea Stampers challenge as well as for the In a Sweet Pea Dream “Things with Wings” challenge.

The challenge for Sweet Pea Stampers this time around is to create an easel card.  Obviously, the IASPD challenge is to use an image with wings, or to otherwise incorporate wings into the project.  I chose to use Ching-Chou Kuik’s Kimono Butterfly Mermaid for these challenges.  She is beautiful, and she has wings.  The flowered background paper is from the DCWV Pocket Full of Posies Matstack.  The yellow textured cardstock and the lime green cardstock are from my stash.  I rounded the corners using my Corner Chomper.  The ribbon and the paper flowers are both from Michaels, as are the tiny pink brads that I used for the center of the flowers.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC, and it is one of Paulette’s freebie sentiments.  I used the following Copics to color this image:  00, 100, B000, BG34, BG45, BG49, E00, E29, E33, E35, E37, E44, R32, RV17, Y02, Y11, YG0000, YG01, YG13, YG21, YG23, YG25, YR00, and YR02.
