Polka Dots January 25, 2011

Here is my entry for the Dot, Dot, Dot It challenge at Tellen’s Place.

I used a Cuttlebug folder to emboss the polka dots.  It actually came with the Cuttlebug Emboss & Cut Welcome Baby set.  I flipped the embossed part over, and I covered the spot for the words with a strip of striped cardstock.  The orange cardstock is Reflections cardstock.  The patterned cardstock is all from my stash.  The image is called Boy Bear from Bugaboo stamps.  I used a Just Rite 1 3/16″ stamp for the sentiment.  The gem in the center of the flower is from Michaels, and the flower itself was a challenge prize.  I also used the following Copics to color this image:  E41, R000, W0, W1, W3, W4, W5, W9, Y0000, YR04, YR09, and YR15.

Hello Danielle. This is such a striking card, fabulous colour and I love the embossing, its very effective and really highlights your image. The striped band across the card and that gorgeous flower, complete the look perfectly. Thank you for joining us at Tellens Place and good luck. Happy crafting.
