Burger Time! March 7, 2011

This is for the Dude Time Doodles March Sketch Challenge.

For this card, I followed the sketch on the DTD challenge site.  I also chose to use a digital image called Burger and Fries, created by Bonibleaux Designs Digis.  Isn’t it a great one?  The sentiment is from Create with TLC.  I chose to use this sentiment for a couple reasons; first, the burger and fries falls into the junk category and second, March is Reading Month and many schools celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday this month.  This clever sentiment is Paulette’s take on the Green Eggs and Ham story, and I love it.

Back to the elements of the card, the background dark brown cardstock is Wausau cardstock that has been embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.  The remaining craft and black textured cardstock are from my stash.  I used a Corner Chomper to trim the corners around the hamburger image in the Art Deco design.  The brown ribbon is from Michaels.  The cream colored squares are pre-cut shapes that I also purchased at Michaels.  I used the following Copics on the image:  E15, E31, E41, E49, E74, R27, R46, Y08, Y17, Y32, YG05, and YR15.
