Christmas Ornament Card November 13, 2011

Here is my card using Sandi’s gorgeous poinsettia Christmas ornament digital image.

Sandi has generously donated this ornament image for the Outlawz freebie challenge.  If you want to check out more of her work, you can check out her blog.  The designer paper is from my stash.  I used a Spellbinders scalloped oval to cut out the embossed holly (Sizzix Snow Globe embossing folder).  The ornament is colored with my Bic Mark Its, and then I used a white Sharpie poster paint to make the highlights on the side.  I also used an American Crafts metallic marker in copper to color the top of the ornament.  The bow is accented with Diamond Stickles, and the holly berries are Rouge Perfect Pearls.  I used a stamp from a Christmas set of clear stamps by MSE for the sentiment.  It’s a little hard to read in the photo, but it says, “May your holidays be shiny and bright.”
