Christmas Wreath November 13, 2011

This beautiful wreath is another free digital image that was donated by Anne Fenton for the Outlawz’s freebie challenge.

I really like how this card turned out.  I used a light tan colored Reflections cardstock as the base.  I embossed it using the Sizzix Sugar Plum embossing folder, and I then used Forest Moss Distress Ink to make the embossed portion of the background pop.  I spritzed the card base with Frost Shimmer Spritz to give it some shine.  The wreath is colored with Bic Mark Its and then cut using a Peony Spellbinders die.  The sentiment on the tan cardstock is by MSE, as is the flourish.  They are stamped with Cottage Ivy and Rhubarb Stalk Memento inks.  I also used pop dots to raise the faux ribbon so it would stand out just a little more.
