A Couple Challenges April 2, 2012

Well, since I’m home and not feeling all that well, I’ve been crafting on and off all day long.  And I have two more cards to add to my blog.

Sorry for the off-center picture, but that was the only way I could get the picture to come out without the sparkle from the Spica pens totally covering up the flowers.  These morning glories are from Anne’s Digital Art, a freebie generously donated for the Outlawz Creative Freebie Challenge.  For this card, the card base is DCWV embossed cardstock.  I matted the image onto Basis navy cardstock, and the image itself is colored with a combination of Crayola colored pencils and Gamsol.  Then, I went over the flower blossoms with a clear Spica pen.

This card will be entered into the following challenges:

My second card is an adorable rabbit from Spectacular Printable.  The card base is cardstock from Archivers that I used the Tween Vines Sizzix Texturz Plate to emboss.  The second layer is a two-step process using Adirondak Gold Acrylic Paint and Broken China Distress Stain as well as a background stamp by All Night Media.  The image itself is matted on Basis Cardstock from Paper Temptress, and it is colored with a combination of Neopiko 2 and Copic markers.  The rabbit’s glasses buttons are colored with an American Crafts metallic marker in gold.

This card will be entered into the following challenges:
