Okay, so that’s not really the theme for this week’s Through the Craftroom Door challenge, but it’s definitely October and there is a chill in the air.

The September-October issue of Through The Craft Room Door online magazine has 90 + pages of fun tutorials and loads of inspiration with over 19 FREE Digi’s that are located in the “Subscribers Only Area”! You will also have access to all previous issues for this year with No advertisements. The new Holiday issue is coming soon, it also has some wonderful tutorials, holiday ideas and several new Digi’s making that well over 25 Free images.

For Challenge #40, we are doing an Anything Goes challenge, as always.  Please join in on the fun, especially since you can use any project that you’re working on to play!  This time around, we have a few awesome sponsors.  Oozak is offering a $10 gift certificate, Paper Temptress is offering paper, and Sandi’s Samples is offering 4 digital images.

Here’s my project for the week.  It uses one of Sandi’s beautiful Autumn images, and I just couldn’t resist it.  The coloring for this image is done with Crayola colored pencils and Gamsol.  It is layered on cardstock from my stash, and the middle layer was created using a combination of Adirondack Acrylic Paint in Terra Cotta and Tim Holtz’s Distress Stain in Wild Honey.  The stamp I used for the background is a Hampton Art stamp, PS0617.  I also used one of my favorite crafting tools called Perfect Layers to mat the card bases.

In case you’d like to be a Guest Designer for TTCRD, please see the main challenge page for more information and be sure to put the letters “GDT” behind your entry.

This card will be entered into the following challenges:
