Good morning everyone!  Today, I am sharing a card that reminds me of a stained glass window.

Created to give a look like a stained glass window

For this card, I used the Eclipse Black cardstock as the base.  This is a wonderful cardstock, heavy enough to stand up even with intricate die cutting.  The die cut I chose to use is one from the Silhouette store, and I cut it using my Cameo.  I actually cut the file out twice, once in the Eclipse Black and once in a cheap white cardstock from my stash.  The white cut-out was used to know which areas of the background to color with my Copic markers.  I did not want to leave any trace of pencil or anything else that would possibly show through in the design.  The “glass” portion of the paper is the Yummy White Iridescent Vellum, and it sure is yummy!  It’s difficult to catch in a photo, but this vellum shines and sparkles through the coloring.  It catches the light beautifully!  And right now,  you can pick up the entire line of Vellum for 25% off!

Copic markers used in this project include B04, G14, V17, and Y38; the gems in the corners are heat-set iRock gems.
