Well, I hope everyone has had a wonderful, safe Halloween this year!  Here, it rained all day and we didn’t get many trick-or-treaters… Bill is happy to have the sweets around though!  I know my last few posts have been Halloween-related, but this latest release from McMahon Five is completely different — it’s for Spring!  Kris from Imagine That! digis by Kris has come up with another adorable set to continue the Gertie Goose line.

In this set, Gertie the Goose is all dressed for Spring showers, for Easter, and as a butterfly.  She has a wardrobe for every season, Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.  These are great for making seasonal all-occasion projects as well as holiday-specific cards… and Gertie is adorable in all her outfits.  There are also a myriad of sentiments for each set that can be used for so many different purposes.  They are definitely worth checking out!

Here is my project:

M5D Spring Gertie Danielle 110113

For this card, I started with the image and sentiment printed on Cryogen cardstock.  Gertie is colored using the following Copic markers:  0, E33, E37, N0, N1, R22, R29, Y02, Y08, Y17, YG11, YR02, and YR07.  They are cut out using Spellbinders Nestabilities dies, matted onto yellow cardstock from my stash.  The card elements are then mounted onto patterned paper from the Making Memories 5×7 Primary mat stack.  The corners of the card and sentiment mat are rounded using the 1/4″ Corner Chomper.

If you have a chance, the rest of the Design Team would love it if you took a peek at their creations, too.  You can find them here.
