For today’s post with McMahon Five Designs, I am using one of the sentiments from Imagine That! digis by Kris‘ newest collection.  This collection is a gorgeous set of Christmas ornaments and sentiments called Elegant Ornaments.  You can use them as they are in black and white, or if you want to add some real shine you can use the glittered color set!  There are so many options for this set, that it really is a great one to have.

Here is my project using one of the sentiments from the black and white set.

Clean & Simple Christmas Card

For this card, I used Cryogen cardstock and Neenah Classic Linen Epic Black cardstock.  To get the precise layering, I used Spellbinders Card Creator A2 Matting Basics A set of dies.  They are a definite time-saver since I was able to cut and layer the elements much more quickly than if I had to measure them by hand first!  It is difficult to catch in the photograph, but I embossed the Epic Black cardstock using a snowflake embossing folder.  Something similar to this card would be wonderfully simple to mass produce if you are going to make your own holiday cards.  You can change the colors of the layers and get a completely different look, too.

Please stop by to see the rest of the Design Team’s creations if you have a chance.  You can find them here.
