Christmas Challenge January 29, 2014

Well, I’ve been under the weather, and it’s really put a damper on my creativity lately…  I’ve had images and projects half started and not completed.  Well, now that I’m finally feeling better I thought it was time to get some of these half finished projects off my desk!

So here’s a quick card I created using a very pretty candle digi from Digistamps4Joy for their monthly  Christmas challenge.

IMAG0838For this card, I used my Cuttlebug to emboss a snowflake pattern onto white cardstock.  The image itself is printed out on Cryogen cardstock, colored with Bic Mark-Its, and then decorated using Diamond Stickles.  The image is mounted on Jupiter Red Mica/Metallic.  I love the little bit of extra sparkle the Cryogen and mica/metallic papers lend to the image.

Beautiful card! I love the crisp clean look of it!

The simplicity of the card lends it to be quite elegant!
Thanks for sharing,

Danielle this is a wonderful Christmas creation with great details. So love the embossed background. Thank you for taking the time to use this month’s free Christmas image. You have automatically qualified to receive next month’s Christmas image for free, which will be emailed to you at the beginning of February.

You might also like to enter this beautiful Christmas card over at Lisa’s Linky Party as there are some lovely prizes up for grabs each month.
