Today’s project for McMahon Five Designs uses a Draw Me a Daydream image called Candy’s Heart. This set is perfect for Valentine’s Day, which is coming up faster than I can believe! This DMAD design comes with loads of sentiments that coordinate with the adorable image – it reminds me of a shy guy wearing his heart on his sleeve. The sentiments include Be Mine, Hug Me, I’m Yours, Love Bug, Love You, Miss You, and Smile.
For this card, I started out with the image itself and printed it out onto Cryogen cardstock before coloring it with the following Copic markers: B91, B95, B97, C0, C3, C5, C7, C9, E11, E13, E17, R81, R85, and YR00. The image is framed using the A2 Fancy Ribbon Threader Spellbinders die from Cindy Echtinaw Designs. The pink ribbon is from my stash, and it is matted on K&Company Sleepy Tree designer paper.
Please stop by the M5D blog to check out the other designers’ creations.
