I really liked working with the image from Digistamps4Joy this month for the Christmas progressive challenge.

IMAG0872

This image this month is adorable, and I colored it in using Prismacolor colored pencils, blending with the Gamsol technique.  I used Spellbinders dies to cut out the circle and the decorative frame.  The card background is embossed using cardstock from the DCWV The Luxury Stack Pearlized and Metallic stack and an Anna Griffin embossing folder.  The sentiment is from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Simple Sayings set, stamped onto cardstock cut with Die-Namics Washi Tape dies and coordinating My Favorite Things background stamps.  I stamped the background with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink and then went over that with the same color ink and an ink blending tool.

Danielle this is just gorgeous and so beautifully coloured. Thank you for taking the time to use this month’s free Christmas image. You have automatically qualified to receive next month’s Christmas image for free, which will be emailed to you at the beginning of May.
