Hello, everyone!  I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  Just a reminder: the January Winter Whites challenge is going to be ending soon, so get your creations entered… The challenge can be found over on the Paper Temptress Facebook page here.

Gentle Baby

For this card, I started out with a card base of Neenah Solar White covered with an embossed sheet of my favorite vellum, the heavyweight vellum.  It embosses like a dream!  The beautiful image itself (Gentle Baby) can be found at A Day for Daisies.  The image is printed on Cryogen White cardstock, a beautiful off-white shimmery cardstock, and then I tore the edge around the image before adhering it down to the vellum.  It is colored using Copic markers in the following colors:  B26, B39, B41, B45, BG10, BG45, C1, C2, C4, C6, E00, E11, E13, E27, E29, E79, R02, and Y000.

Not One Tooth, but Two! March 21, 2015

This is my beautiful niece, Emma.  She has finally lost not one tooth, but two!  It seems like one of those front teeth has been wiggly for a loooong time!  Judging by the photo, it looks like she’s pretty happy that the tooth fairy will be visiting.

Emma No Front Teeth

Here is the card I will be sending her.  She loves to receive mail!20150318_212920_resized

The image is called Tooth Fairy Joy by A Day for Daisies, and it is printed on XPress It Blending Card because originally I was planning on coloring this with Copic markers.  Instead, I wound up using Prismacolor Watercolor pencils, with a little bit of clear Wink of Stella on the wings.  They worked amazingly well, considering this cardstock isn’t really made for use with water.  I accented it with Ice White  Viva Decor Pearl Pen, and then matted the image using a combination of Epic Black (my favorite black textured cardstock) and a piece I watercolored using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors on watercolor paper.  The larger piece of Epic Black is embossed with an Anna Griffin embossing folder.  The card base is Treasures Periwinkle 80# cardstock.

Okay, these are not all new, but I am working on a set of cards as a gift.  They will be getting two of each image in a box.  I need help identifying the sunflower image below.

This card uses a digital image by Doodle Pantry.  The ribbon is from my stash, as is the paper I used.  I also used I-Rock hot-fix gems in the corners.  The corners were punched out with the Arches Martha Stewart punch.  I colored the image with Copics.

For this card, I used an embossed card base by DCWV.  The image is by A Day for Daisies.  I colored it with my Copics and added a little glitter in the center of the poppies with Diamond Stickles.

I love this card, but I can’t for the life of me remember who the digital image is by.  If anyone knows, please leave me a comment so I can give them credit!  I colored this image with Copics and used paper from my stash for it.

For this card, I used another embossed card base from DCWV.  The image is by Jessica Lynn Original.  The paper is from my stash, and I used Copics to color it.

This card is created with Priscilla Styles’ Victorian Rose.  Again, the paper is from my stash.  I used Burgundy Stickles to add a little glitz, and I colored the card with Copics.
