Today’s project for McMahon Five Designs uses a Draw Me a Daydream image called Candy’s Heart.  This set is perfect for Valentine’s Day, which is coming up faster than I can believe!  This DMAD design comes with loads of sentiments that coordinate with the adorable image – it reminds me of a shy guy wearing his heart on his sleeve.  The sentiments include Be Mine, Hug Me, I’m Yours, Love Bug, Love You, Miss You, and Smile.

Love You M5D Danielle

For this card, I started out with the image itself and printed it out onto Cryogen cardstock before coloring it with the following Copic markers:  B91, B95, B97, C0, C3, C5, C7, C9, E11, E13, E17, R81, R85, and YR00.   The image is framed using the A2 Fancy Ribbon Threader Spellbinders die from Cindy Echtinaw Designs.  The pink ribbon is from my stash, and it is matted on K&Company Sleepy Tree designer paper.

For today’s Flashback post, I have a card to share with you using the Mighty Hunter image by Draw Me a Daydream.

Mighty Hunter M5D DanielleFor this card, I started out using the fabulous Mighty Hunter image, printed out on Cryogen cardstock.  Then, I colored the image using a combination of Crayola and Prismacolor colored pencils, blending them with Gamsol.  The image and sentiment are matted on leaf paper from The Paper Studio’s All Seasons II paper pack.  These, in turn, are adhered to cardstock from the Core’dinations Color Core Elements paper pack and then sanded after being embossed using the Sizzix Tween Dots Texturz plate.

Hope you enjoyed the Flahsback today!  Please check out the McMahon Five Designs blog to see other fantastic creations by the M5D Design Team.
